Chat Room

We have been experimenting with having an Absolute Zero Motorsport chat room. Unfortunately, chat rooms are archaic, by internet standards. They were somewhat popular around the turn of the century, before social media really took off. The same went for forums (message boards). The appeal of a chat room is, in part, that people can just casually converse without needing to formally create and respond to topics, and it's all live, in real time. The other part is because IceMan PJN isn't allowed to play around on his phone at work so it is harder for his family to reach him, but they could reach him on a website, like a chat room.

We dabbled with one free site, but they allowed only five users per week and, despite only two or three using it, the host claimed we had met the five-person limit. We could increase that limit but it would cost a ton of money to do so. So now we are dabbling with a different one that seems a lot cooler.

We will see how it goes. The site host where we created this website doesn't have an option for a chat room that we can see.
